Welcome To Sunday School at Cascade for 2011-2012
II Peter 3:18
We invite you to attend Sunday School: a place to come in faith, grow in faith, live in faith and meet kids your own age.
Classes meet each Sunday morning from 9:00 until 10:15 September through May. There are classes for children three years old through High School youth. We would love to share the love of Jesus with you! Learn what He taught!

To instruct children in the knowledge of God's Word and in the reformed faith, creeds, and beliefs using age appropriate curriculum, small group setting and nurturing relationships, so that lives will be transformed by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of making disciples of Jesus Christ who faithfully live by God's word.
Assemble the children- so they can listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and follow carefully all the words of this law. Deut. 31:12

Sunday School meets each Sunday morning, September 11th through May 13th from 9:00-10:15 AM. There are no classes on the following Sundays (2011-12): November 27, December 18, 25, January 1, April 1, 8.

Each class has a dedicated Prayer Partner interceding for them because we want to seek God's wisdom and strength. In addition, the teachers meet each week before class to pray for the Spirit's leading in their teaching and for the students in their class. Please pray frequently and regularly for the Sunday School Program.
3 year olds - 8th grade, except 6th grade: These classes use the Walk With Me Curriculum from Faith Alive. We of course want children to know the stories of the Bible, but Walk With Me sessions don't stop there. They guide children to always ask, "So what? What does God's Word mean for me now-today?" And we motivate children to act on what they discover in God's stories. Sessions are designed to touch the hearts of both leaders and kids and to encourage them to live out their faith.

A classic course on the Heidelberg Catechism and its relevance for life in our times.
Grade 11:
What's Up with the Church Down the Street?
A look at ten Christian faith traditions, including Roman Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, and Episcopal, and how those traditions relate to a Reformed perspective.
The Seven Deadly Sins & The Lure of Cults
Grade 12:
Does God Exist?
This study will explore how to articulate the Christian faith using science and reason.

Mission India's Children's Bible Clubs

Our theme is Rock on! looking at how rocks (and stones) are mentioned in the Bible. The classes are assembling a rock pile, or standing stone, as a reminder to God's faithfulness.
Sunday School is a place for you to belong. A place where seeds of faith are planted, tended, and celebrated.
