Ministers:	James Karsten
	I have been Lead Pastor at Cascade Fellowship since February of 2007. My primary responsibilities here are: Vision Casting, Preaching, and Leadership. I come to Cascade Fellowship with a love of Jesus and a passion to see myself, and others, grown in their faith, love and knowledge of Him. My wife Andrea and I were born in the West Michigan area. By God's grace He brought us together even though I am a Hope grad and Andrea graduated from Calvin. Our children, Joel and Gretchen are young enough to have not yet chosen a side! I love adventure and believe that there is nothing as exciting as following Jesus Christ. I have had the opportunity to Follow Him to Taiwan, Canada, and three other churches prior to coming to Cascade. I'm a Calvin and Hobbes fan, I love to be outdoors and have not yet given up hope on someday watching the Lions in a Superbowl. My biblical hero is David, a "man after God's own heart," and my life is well summed up by 2 Samuel 6:21-22. David has just been rebuked for being too exuberant in praising God. David replies: "I will celebrate before the Lord and I will become even more undignified than this." I look forward to growing with this congregation as we seek to impact each other and the community with the good news of Jesus Christ. May God grant each of us an exuberant joy in following His son Jesus and being His children.
