Youth Ministries at Cascade Fellowship

Church School
Children and youth from three years of age through high school are invited to attend Church School: a place to come to faith, grow in faith, and be encouraged to live in faith, and a fun way to meet people your own age. Classes meet on Sunday mornings (9:00-10:15 AM). Click here for more information about Childrens' Church School.

Nursery
Infants and toddlers, ages 0-2, are cared for during our worship services and other church programs and events. Nursery on Sundays is available from 9:00 AM through the morning worship service, and also during the evening worship service from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Joyful Jewels
Children 3 years old through first grade gather to sing together on Sunday mornings at the beginning of the Church School hour (September-May). The children sing three times a year in the worship services.

King's Kids
Children in 2nd through 5th grade sing together on Sunday mornings at the beginning of the Church School hour (September-May) to prepare for singing once a month during our worship services.

Children in Worship
Children ages 2 1/2 through first grade leave the adult morning worship service to participate in a worship service specifically designed for their level of understanding. They are provided with music and activities that encourage the children to respond to God's stories in a multi-sensory way. There are four separate age groups, 2 1/2 to 4 year olds, 4 year olds, 5 year olds, and 6 year olds.

SPARK
Youth in grades 6 through 8 meet for one social activity a month on either Friday or Saturday. There is also a special worship time called The Crossing on the third Sunday evening during the evening worship service (6:00-7:30 PM). Spark is led by Pastor Ben Hulst and two other couples.

B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ)
Youth in grades 9-12 meet to worship, pray, fellowship and study on the first and third Sundays of the month at (7:15-9:15 PM). To view the B.A.S.I.C. website click here.

Cascade Station - Mid-week refueling for all ages

We invite you to join us on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month for a home-cooked meal followed by programs for the whole family. Supper is served for a minimal charge in the Family Life Center on the lower level (6:00 PM - 6:40 PM). After the meal, nursery and programs for children and youth through grade 8 are available as well as choir, classes and Bible studies for adults. See details of youth programs below. The dates for Cascade Station 2006-7 are: Sept. 12, 26, Oct. 10, 24, Nov. 14 (GEMS Italian Dinner), 28, Dec. 12, Jan. 9, 23, Feb. 13, 27 (Cadet Supper), March 12, 26, and April 16. All programs run from 6:45 to 8:15 PM.

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior)
Bible lessons, badges, and crafts for second through eighth grade girls on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (6:45-8:15 PM) Sept.-April during Cascade Station. This year, a wonderful group of GEMS counselors are getting to know over 70 girls. This year's event include an Italian Dinner, a sleepover at the church and GEMS Sunday.

Cadets
Bible lessons, badges and projects for second through eighth grade boys on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (6:45-8:15 PM) Sept.-April during Cascade Station. The Cadets have more than 40 boys this year, and enjoy camping and canoe trips, Snow Derby, and Pinewood Derby every year.
