Youth Ministries at Cascade Fellowship

Sunday School
Children and youth from three years of age through high school are invited to attend Sunday School: a place to come to faith, grow in faith, and be encouraged to live in faith, and a fun way to meet people your own age. Classes meet on Sunday mornings (9:00-10:15 AM). Click here for more information about Childrens' Sunday School.

Nursery
Infants and toddlers, ages 0-2, are cared for during our worship services and other church programs and events. Nursery on Sundays is available from 9:00 AM through the morning worship service, and also during the evening worship service from 6:00-7:00 PM.

Joyful Jewels
Children 3 years old through first grade gather to sing together on Sunday mornings at the beginning of the Sunday School hour (September-May). The children sing three times a year in the worship services.

King's Kids
Children in 2nd through 5th grade sing together on Sunday mornings at the beginning of the Sunday School hour (September-May) to prepare for singing once a month during our worship services.

Children's Worship
Children ages 3 through first grade leave the adult morning worship service to participate in a worship service specifically designed for their level of understanding. They are provided with music and activities that encourage the children to respond to God's stories in a multi-sensory way. There are five separate age groups: 2 year olds, 3 year olds, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st graders. The 2 year olds are signed in at the nursery counter before the service.

SPARK
Youth in grades 6 through 8 meet for one social activity a month on either Friday or Saturday. There is also a special worship time once a month on Sunday evening (5:45-7:15 PM). Spark is led by Lisa Groeneveld and a variety of volunteers.

B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ)
Youth in grades 9-12 meet to worship, pray, fellowship and study on the first and third Sundays of the month at (7:15-9:15 PM). There is also an evening worship time the 4th Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. BASIC is led by Lisa Groeneveld and a variety of volunteers.

Cascade Station - Mid-week refueling for all ages

We invite you to join us every other Wednesday for a home-cooked meal followed by programs for the whole family. Supper is served for a minimal charge in the Family Life Center on the lower level (5:45 PM - 6:45 PM). After the meal, nursery and programs for children and youth through grade 8 are available as well as classes and Bible studies for adults. See details of youth programs below. The dates for Cascade Station 2011-12 are: Sept. 21, Oct. 5, 19, Nov. 2, 16 (GEMS Italian Dinner), 30, Dec. 14, Jan. 11, 25 (Cadet Supper), Feb. 8, 22, March 7, 21, and April 11, 25. Programs run from 6:45 to 8:15 PM, except GEMS and Cadets start at 6:30.

Nursery and Son Seekers
Children birth through 1st grade, whose parents are on-site during Cascade Station, may attend the nursery or Son Seekers. There are 2 classes for Son Seekers: 3 & 4 year olds and K/1st grade. The progam includes Bible stories, crafts, activities, and snacks. Click here for news about Son Seekers.

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior)
Bible lessons, badges, and crafts for second through eighth grade girls every other Wednesday (6:30-8:15 PM) Sept.-April during Cascade Station. This year, a wonderful group of GEMS counselors are getting to know over 100 girls and our theme for the year is "Get Wisdom: Go beyond the Gold!" Events include an Italian Dinner, a year-end event, and GEMS Sunday Worship. Click here for the national GEMS organization website.

Cadets
Bible lessons, badges and projects for second through eighth grade boys every other Wednesday (6:30-8:15 PM) Sept.-April during Cascade Station. The Cadets have more than 40 boys this year, and enjoy camping and canoe trips, Snow Derby, and Pinewood Derby every year.
